Credit Report Review: FREE – bring a copy of your credit report with you

It’s important to understand your credit and how it affects your financial life.  During our credit review session, our certified financial counselor will help you:

  • Understand what the information on your report means;
  • Know how your credit history impacts your interest rates and your ability to obtain credit;
  • Examine your credit report(s) for inaccuracies and provide information on how to dispute them;
  • Learn how to improve your credit to reach your financial goals.

Here’s How to Receive a Free Credit Report

All consumers are entitled to one FREE credit report annually from each of the national consumer reporting agencies (Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax). You can visit www.AnnualCreditReport.com to review your report immediately or call 1.877.322.8228 to use their automated line and your report(s) will be mailed to you. Credit scores may be added to the free reports for a fee.

Thanks to the generous support of TCCU, OnTrack provides FREE credit reports at the NAACP Empowerment Resource Center in Asheville twice each month (91 Patton Avenue, Asheville). A certified credit counselor will pull one of your credit reports and score for free. View our Education Schedule to see upcoming NAACP Credit Awareness Days.

We Can Pull Your Credit Report: $15.00 for each or $30 for a report from each of the three credit bureaus. Add a credit score for $6.00 for each.
