We apologize for the inconvenience. Due to the risk of COVID-19 and the CDC’s guidance to limit social interaction, we are closing our tax program until it is safe for people to gather again.
As we don’t know how long our tax program will be closed, we advise you to consider filing your taxes on your own, if you feel comfortable doing so. You can use the link below to find a free or low-cost option to file online. Be sure to use the link, as you’ll likely be directed to a site that charges a fee if you do an online search. Please note that both the IRS and North Carolina Department of Revenue have extended their tax filing deadlines until July 15.

Update: 3/20/20
In response to local and national guidance to minimize the spread of the corona virus and to prioritize the safety of clients, staff and volunteers, OnTrack WNC's staff will be working remotely beginning Tuesday March 17th.
Because of the virus, all Free Tax preparation appointments through at least April 4th are canceled and clients are being notified. We will not be rescheduling these appointments until we have more information from the IRS and the Center for Disease Control. When it is safe for us to resume hosting clients, we will send an email announcing people can once again schedule tax appointments.
