Volunteer of the Year: Katherine Early, VITA Volunteer
Katherine’s genuine caring is apparent to clients as soon as they walk in the door. Her love for the work is evident in the way she advocates for her clients, maximizes their deductions and credits and patiently reviews their tax returns. In Katherine’s five years with OnTrack she has volunteered a remarkable 520 hours, filed 304 returns and completed 181 quality reviews. The 2019 Credit Where Credit Is Due Award: Mountain Housing Opportunities.
As we celebrated 45 years of helping people rewrite their financial stories, it was fitting to recognize our long-time partner Mountain Housing Opportunities and our rich history of working together to help people find affordable housing. OnTrack WNC helps’s MHO potential renters address credit problems and improve their credit scores to qualify for apartments.
