October 7th: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Pat Fugate Hock and Debby Burchfield share information about the Hope Chest for Women, a local resource for women burdened by the cost of breast or gynecologic cancers and the Here's Hope fashion/fundraiser coming up on Saturday, October 21st.

October 14th: Learn about Affordable Care Act's open enrollment, options and benefits from Jackie Kiger, JD, MSW, Managing Attorney, Pisgah Legal Services and John Wingerter, Director, Health Insurance Information Services, Council on Aging of Buncombe County.

October 21st: Money Matters' host Celeste Collins gives updates on the Equifax Data Security Breach and information from NC Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission and on steps to take to protect yourself and your identity.

October 28th: Julie Goodwin, Regional Director for the Better Business Bureau shares current trends in fraud, scams and identity theft to help you avoid being tricked this Halloween season.
