WE WON!!!! At the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) conference in Arlington, VA, we received the 2019 NFCC Agency Innovation Award for our SECURE Matched Savings Program.

The SECURE Program, a $3-to-$1 matched savings initiative for low-income households, was selected because of strong metrics, high success rate, relevance for consumers now, and potential for replication. Visionary and significant funding from The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina (CFWNC) was foundational to SECURE’s successful pilot program and continuation.
