Current Programs - COVID-19

In response to the emerging financial crisis we are focusing our current programming to those in greatest financial need and temporarily suspending our other services.  Our physical office is temporarily closed and all staff are working remotely.

Here’s How We Can Help You Now

Emergency Cash Flow Counseling: If you don’t have enough income to cover your expenses, our counselor can work with you to create a two-month cash plan to make sure the most important expenses and bills are covered. Together, we will figure out a plan that will work in real life, not just on paper.

Budgeting after an Income Reduction: If you have had a reduction in income or expect to in the next month, our counselor can work with you to create a monthly budget looking at all of your income, expenses, debt, and savings including an emergency fund and other periodic expenses (for things like a car maintenance fund). You’ll make choices about what you want to do differently with your money considering your new income and personal goals.

Debt Counseling: If you need help figuring out how to pay down your debt or are considering a debt management plan, debt consolidation, or debt settlement, we can help you create a plan to meet your money goals.  Our counselor will work with you to create a budget to determine how much money you have available to put towards paying down debt and you’ll review low-cost debt management options that may lower interest, consolidate payments, and eliminate late fees.

Foreclosure Prevention Counseling: If you have already contacted your mortgage servicer for COVID-19 assistance and still need help understanding your options, our counselor can talk with you about pros and cons of different options and help you choose your next step based on your personal money and housing situation.

Call us at 255-5166 to book one of these counseling appointments. If you prefer to do your screening online instead of calling us, click here to take the first step in our online intake process.
